Spice Up Your Appetizer Game with Cranberry Jalapeño Dip
Hey Hey Flower Friend! The holiday season is here and with that comes a lot of parties and entertaining! What also happens this time of year?!? CRANBERRY SEASON! There is nothing more festive to me this time of year than the flavor of cranberry. I use them in EVERYTHING! So when I am entertaining or need an easy savory dish to take to a party or gathering my go to is Cranberry Jalapeño Dip! This dip is a delightful blend of sweet and spicy flavors, not to mention it’s super simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup white cheddar cheese, finely shredded
1/4 cup fresh cranberries, finely chopped
1-2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Stir in the shredded white cheddar cheese, chopped cranberries, and minced jalapeños. Add the fresh lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything together until well blended. If you prefer a chunkier dip, you can leave some ingredients coarsely mixed.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Remove from the fridge, give it a gentle stir, and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced veggies.
Enjoy!
This cranberry jalapeño and white cheddar dip strikes the perfect balance of flavors, making it an irresistible choice for any occasion. Enjoy the deliciousness!
