Deliciously Easy Cranberry Brie Bites: Your New Favorite Holiday Appetizer
Hey Hey Flower Friends! With endless holiday parties and events, do you run out of ideas for easy party food? I always end up with multiple events and often struggle with something to take since I was always taught to never show up empty handed. This time of the year one of my favorite easy go to’s are Cranberry Brie Bites. They are such an easy yet fancy little party bite and usually go pretty fast. The best part is that you can basically buy all the ingredients and whip these things out with only needing to pop them in the oven. There is no mixing, no chopping or dicing! So without farther ado, let’s whip some of these tasty treats up!
Ingredients:
1 package of store bought puff pastry (thawed in the refrigerator)
1 cup of whole cranberry sauce or chutney (you don’t want the jellied stuff! IF you have made my spiced cranberry syrup, the left over chutney works perfect for this!)
Brie log or wheel of choice
Fresh Rosemary (optional, for garnish)
*you will need a mini cupcake tin for this to make them bite sized!
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray a mini cupcake tin with a non stick spray.
Lightly dust your work surface with flour and unfold the thawed puff pastry. Make sure the seams are well connected then with a SHARP knife cut it into 24 squares.
Place one square of puff pastry into each of the muffin cups.
Next you’ll want to cut your brie wheel or log into small pieces. I find that cutting them into little pea sized pieces works best. Add one little piece of brie in each of the puff pasty “cups” .
Top each brie/puff pastry cup with a tsp or so of the cranberry sauce! You can totally add a small sprig of rosemary at this point as a garnish!
Place the tin in the oven and bake for ~15 minutes until puffed up and golden brown.
So what do you think? Do-able?!? I’m telling you these assemble only appetizers are often super fancy looking but so amazingly tasty and easy! If you give this a try I would love to know what you thought about them in the comments!
