By purchasing a Community-Supported Agricultural (CSA) Flower share from The Wildflower Cottage , for yourself or as a gift, you agree to the following terms and conditions as the recipient.

Payments:

I understand that once I sign up and pay for my membership in full, I have secured my place in the Wildflower Cottage’s CSA share for the respective share period (either spring, fall, or both.) 

There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my share once purchased. However, Members may choose to find an alternate person to buy out the rest of the season’s share, and the share ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay the original shareholder directly. I understand that I am responsible for informing The Wildflower Cottage if any such a transfer occurs.

Start dates & Communications:

I understand that the start date of CSA Shares are flexible, based on seasonal conditions and product availability. I am aware that The Wildflower Cottage will communicate via email to inform all members of updates and the official start date, and that it is my responsibility to contact The Wildflower Cottage via email if I am not receiving notifications near the projected CSA start date of that was communicated to me (mid to late March for spring &/or mid to late August for fall.)

I understand that email will be how The Wildflower Cottage communicates updates and changes to members, as well as how they distribute their newsletter during the season. By signing up for a Wildflower Cottage CSA share, I understand that I will be added to the email list, and I agree to add TheWildflowerCottage@gmail.com to my email contacts.

I understand that Wildflower Cottage Creative LLC (DBA The Wildflower Cottage) will not be held responsible for miscommunications due to emails going to my Spam folder or Promotions tab. I will notify The Wildflower Cottage immediately if I do not receive an email receipt of my payment or CSA share emails.

Picking up my share:

I understand that my share will be available for pick up during the designated times and dates determined by The Wildflower Cottage at the location that I selected and it is my responsibility to keep record of that information.  If I am out of town or unable to pick up my share for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to collect my share. If I am unable to pick up my share I will entitle a friend or family to do so. I understand that if my share is not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, I forfeit that share and that it will be donated at the discretion of the farmer. I will not receive a new bouquet, credit, or a refund for any shares that I do not pick up.

Pick up time parameters are set for the entirety of the season. I agree to not sign up for the for a share knowing that I cannot regularly make it to pick up on the designated day & time.

I understand if I arrive early or late to the pick up location my share to may not be available.

Sharing the risk:

I understand that as a CSA member, I share in both the bounty and the risks of farming and that is the foundation of community supported agriculture. I understand that the risks includes but is not limited to poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests, or the total loss of all crops due to a natural disaster such as tornado, ice storm, fire, flood, or drought.
